NMBA member Carla Chung Mattix has written a new book, National Parks and the Supreme Court: Groundbreaking Legal Battles (University of Nevada Press, America’s National Parks Series, August 11, 2026). The book examines five pivotal cases about the Supreme Court’s influence on national parks. Carla provided legal advice to the National Park Service for twenty-five years. Collected Works Bookstore hosted her book launch on August 18, 2026.
