Exhibit Your Books!
​NMBA will be promoting and selling our members’ books and offering our popular NMBA Online Catalog at the Southern New Mexico Book Festival on October 11th, 2025 in Las Cruces & New Mexico Library Association (NMLA) annual conference on October 22-24, 2025  in Albuquerque. 

What You Need to Provide to Exhibit Your Books

Here’s how to exhibit and sell your titles:

1. ​Pay the fee on Square (preferred) or check: 
         * $30 for the first title.
         * $20 per title for each additional title.
2. Fill out Submission Form.
   Sell sheet requirements are listed below.​
   1. Let us know if you have recently submitted your sell sheet or if we have your books from a recent event. 
3. Send five (5) copies of each title to:
   New Mexico Book Association, c/o Equi-Libris
   7 Avenida Vista Grande, B7-490
   Santa Fe, NM 87508​

IMPORTANT!​

• If you are not sure whether we have copies of your title, or how many copies we may have, please contact Paula Lozar at [email protected].
• If you have other questions about Square or the sell sheet upload form, contact us at [email protected].

What You Get When You Exhibit Your Books

• Your book featured in 2024-2025 NMBA Showcase Catalog, with your description and your art. 
• NMBA staff, board, or volunteers will be at the event while the exhibit floor is open displaying your title and selling your books.
• All sales proceeds for your books go back to you. The NMBA will pay via check or PayPal after the NMLA event.

Sell Sheet Requirements

Your sell sheets will be submitted to the NMBA online Catalog that will be available at the shows. Here's a sample sell sheet.​

Guidelines

1. Color or Black-and-White: Sell sheets may be designed in either color or black-and-white
2. Format: 8 ½ x 11-inch format with at least ¾-inch margins. 
3. Content: ​Sell sheets should include the following information:​ 
   1. ​​Title of book(s) (You may submit a sell sheet for each title or put several titles on one sheet; it’s up to you.)  
   2. Author 
   3. Publisher  
   4. ISBN 
   5. Contact information for sales: address, phone number, email address or website (if applicable)
   6. Regular price of each book, and any show discounts. (Books that are discounted to an even dollar amount or to 30% below list price may sell better at shows.) 
   7. ​Optional, but Good to Include:
      1. An image of the book cover.
      2. Jacket copy, or other summary of the book’s contents.
      3. Reviews.
      4. Any awards the book has received.
