Board Member - Miguel de la Cruz, Las Cruces NM
He currently collaborates with lieberoamerica.com, he is an active member of the literary workgroup <<Pisca a las 6:30 (Harvesting at 6:30)>> in Las Cruces NM. He published his second flash fiction book: The Kitsch Queen’s Dress (Brown Buffalo Press NM, 2019). He has taken workshops with renowned writers like Lemon Andersen, Denise Chávez, and Alberto Chimal. His texts have been published in different literary magazines in Mexico and in the US. In 2013 he published Chameleon’s Memoirs, a collection of short and flash fiction. Miguel, Labels himself as a Border-Chicano, and has lived across the US-Mexico border: Ciudad Juárez, El Paso Texas, and Las Cruces New Mexico where he currently resides. He studied Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics, and also obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish with a supplemental major of Chicano Studies from New Mexico State University. In 2013 he graduated from NMSU with a Master of Arts in Spanish (Hispanic-American Literature).
