The New Mexico Book Association invites you to the 2022 Summer Gala on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. Members and "non-yet-members" are invited to the party hosted at The Club at Las Campanas to socialize, network with other "book people" and enjoy drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvres. Highlights include announcements of the Southwest Book Design Award winners as well as Book-In-Hand award recipients. Members will also have the chance to elect board members.

Where: The Club at Las Campanas, The Clubroom
What to expect: We will announce the winners of the Southwest Book Design Awards.
We still have a number of books left over from recent shows in Tucson and Albuquerque. If any of these are yours and you would like them back, please contact Paula Lozar at (505) 473-3479 by August 20, and she will bring them to the Gala. Current NMBA Members will also have a chance to elect their board members.
Food: Heavy Hors d'Oeuvres. This is not a sit-down dinner.
Drinks: Credit Card Bar
Dress code: Optional Santa Fe dressy. Since we Santa Feans don’t have many opportunities to dress up (other than the Opera) we invite you to take advantage of this event to have fun with your wardrobe.
Parking: There is plenty of available parking at Las Campanas
COVID-19 Protocols: Masks optional. For your safety we ask that attendees present proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test (within 24 hrs) at the door.

Tickets are $40 per person. This event has sold out in the past, please be sure to purchase your tickets soon if you'd like to attend.

Travel North on US 84/285 toward Opera. Exit onto 599 West (Relief Route) and go about 3 miles to Camino La Tierra exit on your right.
At stop sign turn right and go 2.2 miles to fork; veer right onto Las Campanas Drive and go .2 miles to another fork.
Stay left on Las Campanas Drive for another 1 ½ miles to Clubhouse main gate on right.
Stop at gate and tell guard where you are going, then go about 1 ½ miles on Clubhouse Drive to Clubhouse, passing tennis courts and Fitness Center on your right.
